Just a bit of spacial distortion in Leeds UK…

But first…
Dulltown, Europe: Today’s random dictionary words are: croodle, cromorna, croche, crome, crithomancy, and zwitterion.
Please have these words looked up and placed in suitable sentences ready for Professor Mouldie first thing after breakfast tomorrow morning. Marks will be awarded for spotless underwear.

DSCN3497What the hell’s going on here!… Whoa!… I’ll say that again, Whoa!…
No, I was in the city of Leeds, having a change of air, (actually the air in Leeds is pretty similar to Dulltown air, but it does sound clever to use a phrase like that); I was walking up a long straight noisy road that has a big flashy guitar shop at the end of it – (that sounds like the plan of my life!…) And no, I don’t need another guitar, but guitar shops are nice to look around occasionally, despite the very cool bored hairy teenage staff being enthusiastically ‘friendly’ in an unconvincing manner…
This was one of those temporary plastic advertising things at the side of the pavement. I think it was outside a bland new apartment block, (what we used to call ‘a block of flats’) and I think that the trendy young couple that you see here were just the sort of people that the owners hoped to attract into renting or buying one of their expensive little cubes. Yes, what shall we call these two? Simon and Bryony? Just the sort of people we need here – young, trendy, and loaded… (Was that a popular song?…)
Simon has just spotted that Bryony has started to dematerialise, she’s probably been overdoing the Pilates, but being far too cool to be upset, he smiles, hoping that it will come across as irony. She notices his cool grin, but before she can speak, he wittily chips in, ‘It’s irony Bryony…’ and she smiles through the worries concerning her slow creeping metamorphosis into a mollusc…
As you can see the rope holding the thing up has disappeared from its eyelet and has caused the plastic to droop… I think the glimpse of the distant tree over Bryony’s head adds ‘a little something’ to the picture, don’t you?
Mm, nice photo Dave…
