Some snatches of overheard and misheard cafe conversation…

But first…
Dulltown, Europe: Today’s special sounds are: clunk, clunk, murmur, crack, rumble, clunk, and thud.

‘So much over-thinking…’
‘Some glum for dinner.’
‘Lemon popsie, my entire family.’
‘Stereo Michael!…’
‘Blowming just there again.’
‘No eye deer.’
‘There are two for neg-nye.’
‘A tender mouth well?’
‘Literally, literally…’
‘I was on sponge bond…’
‘Teetering on a knife edge.’
‘Forty of us, we used to have knock-outs.’
‘Blood pressure the way it was…’
‘Nimmy nimmy knuckle down.’
‘They lay people on and off like yo-yos.’
That order box is full!’
‘A horrible payment?’
‘Bongos now!…’
‘She was so accommodating for a week.’
‘A prall regular…’
‘Scafell Pike?’
‘People do do…’
‘Expensive jazz pants?’
‘A corn pull on the way back.’
‘Daphne and the second offer on her car.’
‘A boot application mechanism.’
‘A depressing large paper.’
‘Deckage exclusive moneywise.
‘Brown goo…’

About Dave Whatt

Grumpy old surrealist artist, musician, postcard maker, bluesman, theatre set designer, and debonair man-about-town. My favourite tools are the plectrum and the pencil...
