Mail Art postcard No. 4500…

But first…
Dulltown, Europe: Today’s task is to learn to stamp one’s feet, look very serious, and play the castanets. Now, where are my high heels and my tight black trousers?… (Click)

WP F 4500Well, is this cute, or what?…
Yes, it’s another of my mail art postcards, a simple collage on fluorescent card using a couple of quick clippings from that cheap British TV listings magazine What’s On TV.
Oh, it is so easy, and so effective, sticking inappropriate randomly found eyes onto unsuspecting people’s or animals’ faces. This time they are not even real eyes, they seem to be from some character in a popular cartoon film; I don’t know which one, perhaps you recognise those eyes dear reader? You may also be able to tell me what kind of cat that is too, but please don’t bother, it’s not the sort of thing that I need to know…
But really, isn’t he/she so cute?… Perhaps he/she is pondering on something? He/she looks as if he/she is pondering… What can it be?… Perhaps he/she is thinking, gosh, I wish now that I’d bothered to vote in that recent general election…
