Mail Art Postcard No. 4535…

But first…
Dulltown, Europe: Today’s breaking news is the discovery of Tony Blair’s secret terracotta army that he had installed under Downing Street.

W F 4535Whoa! What’s this? Who’s this?…
It’s alright, it’s just another of my quickly made, but pithy, mail art postcards.
An old copy of that cheap TV listings magazine What’s On TV: snip snip snip… dab of glue… a Pop Art collage masterpiece!…
Now, to whom shall I send this one?…

Don’t look at the eyes!… Don’t look at the eyes Professor!…
What I find the most unsettling about this image is that yellow/orange V-neck jumper; it’s that kind of casual wear that posh country-dwelling chaps seem to go for… It makes him seem soft and cuddly, but in a rather unpleasant way… don’t you think?
So who is this?… I don’t know, but I’m sure he’s a TV celebrity known and loved by millions in the UK… What a sincere smile, and what nice even teeth he has…. But why do I have the feeling that he’s about to jump out of the picture, sprout claws, and try to bite me on the neck?…
Hm… cuff links too…
