Mail art postcard No. 4466…

But first…
Dulltown, Europe: Today’s unicorn is the one with two horns.

W F 4466Here we go again, yes, it’s another of my silly collage mail art postcards assembled from snippings from that awful British TV guide What’s On TV.
So, who’s this then?… Oh, it’s that Gladiator chap – oh, what’s his name?… You know him, he’s always cropping up in Hollywood films as miserable investigative journalists, or slab-faced mean detectives… he’s very good at looking careworn and glum and doing a bit of swearing… I’ve seen him a few times… Come on now, it’s on the tip of my tongue, is he Australian?…
Ah, I just Googled the film, it’s Maximus, it’s that Russell Crowe, I should have remembered him – turns out he was born in New Zealand, but apparently decided to be an Australian instead; perhaps New Zealand happened to have upset him in some way?…
It’s a nice orange card isn’t it? Oh, and what about waist elastication and drawcord tie fastening?  Now there’s a set of nice sounding words!…
Come on, let’s all say them together! Waist elastication and drawcord tie fastening! Waist elastication and drawcord tie fastening!  Waist elastication and drawcord tie fastening!… Come on!… Put some life into it!… You, you, at the back… you’re not even trying!…
