That Christmas Pudding. No. 2…

But first…
Dulltown, Europe: Today’s carefully chosen adjectives are: buxom, discommodious, icy, sessile, interplanetary, dominical, comic, and conic. You hardly ever hear the word ‘buxom’ these days – pity, it has a pleasant look and sound to it… it’s that unexpected ‘x’ in the middle, and the nicely rounded ‘b’ and ‘m’ to left and right, that makes it such an attractive word…

DSCN4246So, yes, for some reason I drifted into the city centre yesterday afternoon, fool that I was – oh, the shoppers, the capitalism, the gridlocked traffic, the noisy tipsy revellers, it was crazy-crazy town!… However, I did spot another of those Christmas pudding back-lit posters (I think they might be advertising Marks and Spencer’s range of festive stuff).
I posted a ‘fairly alright’ photograph of one of them yesterday morning, but I couldn’t resist quickly snapping another, especially as it was getting towards dusk, and the twinkling blue Christmas lights were on, and that tired couple were trudging away from me, wide with bulging bags of food, drink, and flashy festive gewgaws, in preparation for the big day…
This picture’s a bit more Christmassy isn’t it?… Best wishes to you all!…
