Dulltown, Europe: Today’s existential angst is centred around the word ‘preternatural’.

WP F 4564Hello?… Yes?… Oh, right… No, no, I really am sorry Your Majesty… No… I didn’t mean any disrespect, well perhaps just a little bit, and… No, no, yes, Your Majesty, of course, I do understand… You’ll be sending who around?… Oh dear… Look, I’ll take the postcard down… It was only a bit of fun you know… anyway, people do say that you have a jolly good sense of humour… See, you are smiling in the picture… Oh, alright then… What!… the Tower of London?… No, I don’t think that would be… Hello?… Hello?… Damn! I think she’s hung up on me…

No, but really, it’s just another of my ‘transplanted eyes’ mail art postcards – a simple collage using snippets from that awful British TV magazine, What’s On TV.
Mm, that’s a very nice hat though isn’t it? It looks like the sort of thing you could sprinkle dried fruit over, pour milk on, and have for breakfast…

  1. I always thought the queen grimaced, rather than smiled. Must be very hard work being the queen, not showing favour to any one side or person – unless there is a sword involved of course.
