Some snatches of song lyrics misheard over the cafe hubbub…

But first…
Dulltown, UK: Today’s vegetable is the ghostly pale chicory root peering sullenly out from the back of the fridge.

‘Nope, nope, is, is love girl…’
‘Every time I was wander I was drift.’
‘That you are, you you gourd you – oh oh!’
‘I’m in my chains away, I spring at you.’
‘Me me bee, kiss my nape…’
‘I back on Jimmy Jimmy, yeah!…’
‘I’m two, they say trestles, what more baby?’
‘I got the suction crown now!…’
‘Dark and walking – dark and walking – my mood in dreams, oh, oh, oh.’
‘Fall in the round respect – no-one boogie, no-one boogie…’
‘My bed, my bed, then it’s a pony do too.’
‘I post the moss in your shed girl.’
‘Last night that is fine day get on so.’
‘Jo-jo generation be a crystal path…’
‘I’m a fiddle super web dig!’
‘Tumble hay wispy-whippy.’
‘I am a weird day, leaves test me…’
‘Get down my ewe, whoo-oo!…’
‘Yow yow! You stole it now now.’
‘I got drips giving me the sadness.’
‘I’m leaning on a fixture, love love, now let go!…’
‘That’s a no-no-no go…’
‘Then smelling you changes everything…’
