dscn4401Yes, well, he’s certainly a bit tarnished, and he looks really fed up, but I’m sure he’s trying to put a brave face on things.
He’s thinking, I remember when this was a lovely popular pub, with a jolly throng of local folk getting pissed out of their heads almost every night of the week in here – now look at it – it’s falling to bits – just look at that rotting painted cheap chipboard – I knew it wouldn’t last – I feel quite silly standing here now – I deserve a better than this! – I wonder what they’ll convert it into – I don’t suppose they’ll want an eagle on this corner any more though, whatever it is… sigh…
