It’s Avenger-Trek!…

But first…
Dulltown, UK: Today’s colours are: uppity umber, olid orange, ribald red, ghoul green, medical mauve, and ugly ultramarine.

Oh, here we go again!
On the TV we seem to have, on one channel an episode of the original Bill Shatner Star Trek from the 1960s, and on another channel an episode of The Avengers with John Steed and Mrs Peel from that same decade. I’ve seen them before of course, but come on, let’s flick between channels and watch them both at once!

‘Star date 5725.3…’
‘Isn’t it time you bought a new car Steed?’
‘Let’s hope we have time to argue about it Bones.’
‘It’s just around the next bend Mrs Peel.’
‘We grow annoyed at your foolishness!…’
‘Ah, Steed! Please come in!’
‘Let him sweat for a change!’
‘Would you like to retire to your room?’
‘Your ship will be destroyed!…’
‘Mrs Peel has just arrived.’
‘Escape is impossible!’
‘Just fumbling beginners!’
‘Will he grow careless Captain?’
‘It isn’t exactly the bridal suite is it?’
‘Shear away from him! Maximum power!’
‘How about Rasputin?’
‘More power Spock!…’
‘Capital! Excellent! This will be fine.’
‘We are breaking free Captain…’
‘Yes, I feel like a drink now.’
‘I doubt the mother ship heard that.’
‘My word, you are looking radiant this evening!’
‘To seek out and contact alien life?’
‘Who is Jeremy?…’
‘Thank you Scotty.’
‘Apparently he’s a pretty tough nut Mrs Peel.’
‘Me? I’m as fresh as a daisy…’
‘Welcome aboard!’
‘Sleep, sleep, sleep…’
