Just a few short, but pithy items…

But first…
Dulltown, UK: Today’s old English expletive is – By the Bithmaskins! An ancient oath, but it was apparently was still in use in Lancashire as late as the 19th century. Probably a corruption and embellishment of – ‘By the Mass!’

Excuses for being late. No. 399.
I’m sorry I’m late, but I was burning all my bad reviews.

A single overheard remark:
‘Sandra, they didn’t have it in the large…’

‘Oh look down here professor, there’s the remains of a dungeon that was completed, and then later removed…’
‘Ah, I see – would you perhaps call it an undungeon?’
‘Er… yes, why not?…’

An observation:
Yesterday everyone in town was practising their frowns. I’ve never seen so many wrinkled foreheads!…

‘Dave…’
‘Yes?’
‘Did I hear you just say that you were a vocalist?’
‘No, no, not a vocalist, a Vorticist!…’
‘Ah, right…’
(Vorticism)

Have you ever seen that beautiful and strange film Cold Fever (1995)?

Hey, what about a slice of spam?
Oh good, this one seems have some religious references in it – I do like a bit of religion in my blobs of spam. It’s apparently from someone with the unlikely name of Dibb:
Okay.? Lee mentioned and then he stopped and thought.
?One of the best factor about God is ???Hmmmmm???? He puzzled as a result of he had so many things that have been great about God but he wished to choose the perfect one so he would win the game. ?That he knows everything.
That’s really cool. Meaning he may also help me with my homework. Larry concluded with a proud expression on his face.
Well, thank you Dibb! Your post really cheered me up – do get in touch again soon!

Yes, I think I’ll be changing my name to – May Kabalsup.

A single overheard remark:
‘Apparently Tom, they always have to eat something orange…’
