Strangeness and serendipity in the town centre…

But first…
Dulltown, UK/Europe: Today’s made up word is, cremolstice. (Your search did not match any documents.) If this were a real word, what do you think it might mean?

Here’s a picture I took in the centre of town back in April.
It’s nicely odd, isn’t it?
It shows part of the window and doorway of one of the closed down shops – we have plenty of closed down shops here in Dulltown. I had walked past this place a few times on previous days, my eye being caught by the way that bright blue stuff stuck to the inside of the glass had been ripped – I think it had originally been applied to block the view of the empty room from the eyes of innocent passers-by – I mean, who would want to look at an empty room, and then possibly get upset by it?…
Anyway, it looks to me like someone, some miscreant, had been in there, and just for the fun of it, and because they could, decided to pull the sticky blue stuff off the window – but after working on the smaller pane, and perhaps finding it more difficult than they expected, they became bored and stopped. But, I wonder why they didn’t peel off that tempting easy last piece that looks like some sort of animal’s head and neck? If I were a ne’er-do-well vandal, I think I would have enjoyed pulling that off!
But as I strolled past that particular day which was a sunny one, the shadow of a nearby tree was cast rather dramatically on the window – it certainly added a bit more aesthetic interest to the scene – so I decided to get my little camera out and… click!…
If the animal head might suggest a deer or something, the tree shadow might suggest, a forest?
Not too bad a photo I think…

Isn’t that the highest point on your whipped cream topping?
