Oh look, another smudge drawing…

But first…
Dulltown, UK/Europe: Today’s elephant in the room is the one sitting reading the Financial Times, waving his trunk around, and scowling.

As I have mentioned in a recent post (click) I seem to have drifted into doing a series of drawings which involve quick carefree messy charcoal smudges followed and rescued by slow tedious pencil work. As they are fairly fresh in my mind, I thought that I might show you one of them close up – you may have glimpsed this one sitting with its comrades in the earlier post.

Sorry, I was getting rather carried away there. Here it is, another smudges drawing – I’m quite enjoying doing these – you may see some more of them in the near future…

Well, how nice to enjoy doing something that produces a more than worthwhile artefact. What more could you ask? We can take more of these. Thank you.
