Some more of those Crush names…

But first…
Dulltown, UK: Today’s carefully selected colours are: passive pink, vacant violet, riotous red, murky maroon, yawning yellow, gurgling green, sneering sienna, brutish black and frowning fawn.

Hm, I just received an email from Veronica Crush, writer from the glory days of the Hull Surrealist League, now living in New York with tall tree surgeon and heir to a multi-billion dollar fortune, Monty Tick.
She starts off the message by telling me that Tony Mayonnaise, poet from those old Surrealist days, has been trying to get in touch with her. (Veronica was married to Mayo for a whole week back then.) She says that if I should see Tony, I should, on her behalf, smack him hard on the nose.
Apparently Tony has, somehow, found out about her partner Monty’s possible future riches, and as V now lives in New York, and has lots of posh friends, she should clear the way for him to come over and visit her – and also she should arrange some posh poetry reading sessions, in trendy places, for him.

I straightway replied, saying I would punch Tony, on her behalf, next time a saw him.
I won’t, of course.

Towards the end of her message she has included some more of her spare character names, for me to slip onto my blog, for any young writers, who struggle with names, to use in their work, free of charge!
As usual, she has included a real person’s name in the list, see if you can guess which one it is. The answer to V’s puzzle may be found via the link at the bottom of the page.

Good Lord – I’d never have guessed that real name! You couldn’t make it up! … but I assumed you did.
